Welcome to the Delegation of Our Lady of Peace

The Franciscan Hospitaller Sisters of the Immaculate Conception established their first community in San Jose, California, USA, on March 28, 1960. The Sisters came at the request of Reverend Father Mario Cordeiro for the purpose of educating the children and youth of this area.
The Delegation of Our Lady of Peace initially known as Delegation of Five Wounds, was canonically erected on June 9, 1972. The Novitiate was opened in San Jose on October 14, 1972. The name was changed to Delegation of Our Lady of Peace on March 05, 1988. The headquarters was moved to Los Banos on May 3, 2014. |
