On 4th.October 2016, the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi, following the spirit of their patron saint and his love for nature, the Sisters planted a sapling of a pear tree in their orchard along with the residents and staff of New Bethany and well-wishers.
173rd. Birth Anniversary Celebration of
Blessed Maria Clara, Foundress of the Congregation.
On June 11th 2016, a Mass of Thanksgiving was celebrated in honor of Blessed Maria Clara, at St. Joseph’s church, Los Banos, which was presided over by the Most Rev. Armando X Ochoa, Bishop of the Diocese of Fresno. This celebration marked the beginning of a three year preparation of the 175th birth anniversary of Blessed Maria Clara, on June 15th, 2018.
